The Betty Ford Center
Campus Transformation
A Place To Transform
Support the Betty Ford Center campus transformation and help transform many more lives
For 40 years, the Betty Ford Center has been more than cornerstone of addiction treatment — it's been a center of personal transformation for thousands. Betty Ford’s first steps into recovery not only broke boundaries in addiction awareness, but carved a wider path for all to seek the treatment they need. By transforming the Betty Ford Center campus, we’re re-envisioning treatment and recovery — providing more ways to engage more people so that they can transform their lives.

Our Transformation
With the help of supporters, the campus transformation will ensure that the Betty Ford Center continues to be a center of excellence in patient-centered addiction treatment for individuals, families and children.
A New Residential Treatment Pavillion
For many patients at the Betty Ford Center, residential treatment is the first stop on their journey to recovery. A new residential pavilion will significantly increase the Betty Ford Center’s capacity, giving patients more options for on-campus care and creating additional space for flexible treatment options. Substance use treatment options are unfortunately limited for those with physical disabilities. All facilities at the Betty Ford Center will be ADA-compliant to ensure inclusion and accessibility for all.
Restorative Healing
For more than 40 years, patients have been drawn to the natural beauty of the Betty Ford Center campus in Rancho Mirage, California.
We’re taking full advantage of the awe-inspiring natural beauty of our surroundings by adding healing outdoor spaces and landscaping. These natural spaces will promote wellness and provide tranquil areas for patients and families of all ages to heal together.
A Warmer Welcome to the Betty Ford Center
Patients and visitors will find the Betty Ford Center more accessible and ready to welcome even more travelers along the path to recovery when the first phase of the campus transformation is complete.
Our new public entrance proudly welcomes patients and visitors. We’re not tucked away anymore, which is reducing stigma from the very first step to treatment.
A spacious new auditorium will become a central gathering place for patients, families, and all members of the recovery community. Equipped with the latest audio-visual technology, the auditorium will allow us to reach audiences around the globe with events and programs.
